Making Filigree Beads

Jose Lins made filigree beads by hand using sterling wire for his entry in the Saul Bell Design Award contest. In this video he mentions that these beads are easy to make... so of course I was intrigued and wanted to know how they were made. Here is the video of his interview and showcases his beautiful piece.



Of course there is a big difference in having an inspiration and knowing how to do something and so the hunt began. It took several days before I came upon a description of how these beads could be made. Here is what I've found:
